When Your Reflective Vest Makes Headlines for All the Wrong Reasons

Last week, the internet lit up with photos from the Paris jewelry heist - masked thieves, glittering gems, and, oddly enough, bright yellow reflective vests.
It turns out even jewel thieves know that high-vis gets you places.
(Though at ARX, we prefer permits to get ours.)
While the world joked about “construction chic” and “high-vis couture,” one thing stood out to us: yet again, women’s fit was not part of the story. Those oversized, baggy vests weren’t made for anyone to move - whether you’re running a jobsite or, apparently, from the police.
At ARX, we’ve redefined what a reflective vest can be.
It’s not a costume, it’s a uniform - built for performance, for confidence, and for women who actually wear it to work. Because when your gear fits right, you don’t blend in. You stand out - for all the right reasons.
So while Paris may have given reflective wear a viral moment, we’re here to give it purpose.
